Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc (Monte Carlo, 16 October 1997) is a Monegasque racing driver who competes in Formula 1 with Scuderia Ferrari. Raised in the Ferrari Driver Academy, he became champion in GP3 in 2016 and in Formula 2 in 2017, results that allowed him to move to Formula 1 with Sauber in 2018. Despite a less than competitive car, over the course of the season he managed to achieving several top-10 finishes, which earned him a move to Ferrari in 2019, where he became vice world champion in the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship.
To date, he has competed in 119 grands prix and achieved 27 podium places, 5 victories, 20 pole positions and 7 fastest race laps.
