Enjoy lunch with cryptocurrencies expert Jeremy Gardner.

Jeremy Gardner is the founder of Ausum Ventures, an impact-focused hybrid venture-hedge fund. He has been involved in the blockchain sector since 2013 and has founded several successful ventures in the industry.

In early 2014, Jeremy founded the Blockchain Education Network (BEN). What began as a small hodgepodge of “bitcoin clubs” quickly exploded into a global network of student organizations, spanning every continent, over thirty countries and nearly 400 schools. Jeremy still serves as chairman of the board.

In late 2014, Jeremy co-founded Augur, a decentralized prediction market platform built on the Ethereum blockchain. He traveled the world to raise awareness for Augur. This culminated in the first “ICO” on Ethereum for Augur’s native token, REP, raising $5.2 million. Today, REP’s market capitalization hovers around $400 million, with Augur planning to launch in Q4 2017.

In late 2015, Jeremy joined Blockchain Capital, a San Francisco VC, as entrepreneur-in-residence and helped various portfolio companies navigate the industry, and bolstered their operations and marketing, in addition to venture investing and starting database security company, SAAVHA. He is also the editor-in-chief of Distributed, the only print magazine dedicated to blockchain technology.

The lunch will take place in San Francisco within 6 months of the auction closing. Eventually, place and date will be mutually agreed upon depending on the availability of Jeremy Gardner and the auction winner. Travel expenses are not included.
