"Bohemian Rhapsody" topped the UK Singles Chart for nine weeks and had sold more than a million copies by the end of January 1976. In 1991, after Freddie Mercury's death, it topped the charts for another five weeks, eventually becoming the UK's third best-selling single of all time. It topped the charts in countries including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and the Netherlands, and sold over six million copies worldwide. In the United States, the song reached a new peak of number two on the Billboard Hot 100 after being used in the film Wayne's World (1992). In 2018, the release of Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody brought the song renewed popularity and chart success worldwide.

This award was created by KEN KITTINGER who spent nearly five decades on Nashville’s famed Music Row and was heralded in the music industry as the premier gold and platinum award maker. This was never made available to the public. Never taken out of the box, but part of overstock from Mr. Kittinger's workshop where he made awards for the music industry for 50 years.

This award is accompanied by 2 framed pieces:

1) A memorial photo of Freddie Mercury with birth & death dates

2) The Queen “Crest” with the story of how Mr. Mercury created it as an accomplished graphic artist dedicating it to Queen Elizabeth II.
