Andrea Tafi is an Italian former road cyclist born on May 7, 1966 in Fucecchio, Italy. Throughout his career, he has been a specialist in road classics, known for his endurance and ability to race over rough terrain. Tafi took a notable victory at Paris-Roubaix in 1999, demonstrating his ability to navigate the bumpy roads and tackle the cobbled sections. He has been a member of important teams such as Mapei and CSC, and has competed in numerous editions of major races such as the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France. After retiring from professional cycling in 2005, Tafi continued to be involved in the world of cycling, taking part in events and promoting cycling.
