Victor Wanyama's Limited Edition 'Poppy Appeal' Southampton Shirt
On Sunday 01 November, Southampton won a 2-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth at St Mary's Stadium. For the match a commemorative 'Football Remembers' badge was added to the players' shirts in support of the Royal British Legion's annual Poppy Appeal campaign. It is an initiative that supports thousands of veterans and their families in remembrance of the sacrifice they have given for their country.
This auction is for Victor Wanyama's match worn and unwashed shirt. It has been signed on the front and the back, and the poppy badge is to the right of the chest.
The shirt comes with an official Southampton FC certificate of authenticity.
