5-star Deauville Horse Racing Vacation for 2, Normandy in France.

Spend two nights at the world renowned 5* Normandy Barriere Deauville Hotel in a double/twin superior room on a bed & breakfast basis.

Deauville is incredibly unique in Normandy, Northern France. Well known worldwide for its high-society seaside resort renowned for its festivities and prestigious establishments. Your Deauville Experience includes a half day privately guided tour of the Deauville Hippodrome (Racetrack) famous for its majestic stallions, where you will meet the Jockeys, Trainers and even the horses themselves as well as watch a Race.

Deauville-La Tocques is spread across 75 hectares, including 20 tracks, two on turf and one on synthetic sand; three polo fields; and at least 300 horses all year round. Complete with one of the largest horse training centres in Europe, the Deauville-La Touques racetracks hold high esteem in the French equestrian world.

The Cause

Small Steps Project is a children’s charity dealing with the most devastating humanitarian consequence of the global waste problem: child waste pickers.

All over the world thousands of children survive by collecting and recycling rubbish on landfill sites. Deprived of an education, they work when they should be at school and put their lives at risk on a daily basis. Work on the dumps is dirty and dangerous. As well as respiratory and skin diseases, cuts and lacerations to their hands and feet are commonplace and risk of infection is extremely high in the toxic environment.

Small Steps Project provides shoes to protect their feet and support to enable them to take small steps off the dump sites, out of poverty and into education.

To date, Small Steps Project has provided shoes and aid to over 20,000 children thanks to the money raised from shoes, all donated and signed by some of the most famous celebrities in the world.
