"Volo di gabbiani" is a work by Maestro Francesco Vaccarone, created using the oil on canvas technique, in 1972. The painting measures 18x24 cm and comes already framed. Its commercial value is 1500 euros. The artwork comes with photographic authentication.

Francesco Vaccarone was born in La Spezia in 1940. He began painting at a young age under the guidance of G.U. Caselli and G. Bellani. From 1965 to 1969 he worked out of his studio in Genoa and carried out research into visual languages ​​in close contact with poets and artists of the Italian experimental avant-garde. In 1970 he opened his second studio in Rome where he perfected his knowledge of intaglio techniques at the Il Cigno printing house and frequented artists such as Marini, Guttuso, Gentilini, Raphael Mafai, Zancanaro and Fieschi. From 1977 to 1990 exhibitions were set up in Italy and abroad, including in Los Angeles, Munich, Paris and Stockholm, where he opened a new atelier. In 1986 he took part in the IX National Quadrennial of Rome. In 1990 an anthological exhibition was dedicated to his work at the Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara. In 2003, he received the Silone Prize and the Constantinian University of the State of Rhode Island USA presented him with an honorary degree in Aesthetics. In 2008 his works were displayed at the XIII International Sculpture Biennial of Carrara and five of his works were exhibited in St. Petersburg. In 2010 a personal exhibition was set up at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Also in 2010 his works appeared in New York, at the Lincoln Center, with a cycle of paintings dedicated to Jazz. In 2011 he exhibited at the Monte Paschi in Brussels and was invited to the 54th Venice Biennale as part of the Italian Pavilion. In 2019, 25 works dedicated to Wagner were exhibited in Bayreuth and at the 58 Venice International Art Biennale.
