Whitey Ford aka “the Chairman of the Board” was an American professional baseball player who played for the New York Yankees from 1950 to 1967. He was a 10-time All-Star and 6-time World Series champion and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974. During his time with the Yankees, Ford set multiple pitching records, including most consecutive scoreless innings. Ford passed away at the age of 91 on October 8, 2020.
