Support the Street Child World Cup 2022
目标
The Street Child World Cup 2022 – to be held in Doha, Qatar – will be our fourth football World Cup, following successes in South Africa (2010), Brazil (2014) and Russia (2018).
The ten day event will see street-connected young people from around the world come together to partake in a football tournament; a festival of arts; and advocate for their rights and protection through our UN-style congress and General Assembly. Ahead of the FIFA World Cup later that year, the SCWC will give the most vulnerable children from across the globe the chance to represent their country and tell the world that they are somebody.
Almost all of the young people taking part start their journey with us without any form of identification.
£5,000 ensures SCU can provide all the teams taking part with expert legal advice when applying for birth certificates, passports and visas.
We can ensure that all young people have the necessary documentation to join us, well in advance of the event!
