Travel program
Monday (first day - about 10 nautical miles): We will welcome you for boarding at 2pm at the port of Sami in Kefalonia to complete boarding procedures and carry out a briefing on the safety rules on board. After preparing our cabins, we'll set sail ... direction Ithaca! The first stop on this wonderful experience will be a swim in Andri's bay. From there we will set off to the bay of Pera Pigadi where we'll moor and dine on board, ready to spend our first night under a starry sky.
Tuesday (second day - about 9 nautical miles): With the sun on our feces, we'll start the day with a rich breakfast on dech, with Ithaca as our backdrop. We'll spend the morning swimming and snorkelling in the splendid waters of Pera Pigadi or perhaps Sarakiniko bay. The thousands of coves with turquoise water will give us plenty of choice. From Filiatro beach we'll move north along the coast of Ithaca until we reach the picturesque port of Kioni. There we'll find a characteristic Greek "tavern" that serves tasty fish dishes, with tables overlooking the sea.. a temptation that is difficult to resist.
Wednesday (third day - about 14 nautical miles): After a hearty breakfast, we'll set sail in the direction of the island of Atokos. South Bay and One House Bay will amaze with their coasts of jagged rocks that fall sheer to an emerald sea. After lunch we'll continue sailing towards the island of Kastòs. We'll enjoy the colors of sunset over the sea as we walk to a charming old mill converted into a "chiringuito" or simply sit in the cockpit to savor an aperitif on the boat. The tiny and picturesque village of Kastòs is the ideal place to eating out in one of its characteristic taverns.
Thursday (fourth day - about 14 nautical miles): We'll go up the island of Kastòs and veer east towards Kalamòs. Agripidia beach will welcome us to this magical island. After snorkeling in one of its many beautiful bays, we'll decide whether to choose the most suitable cove to spend the night in the harbor under a starry sky or head towards the small and welcoming village of Kalamòs.
Friday (fifth day - about 14 nautical miles): We'll circumnavigate Kalamòs looking for the seals that colonize the islet of Formikoula. We'll then reach the island of Meganisi. The island will amaze for its countless fjords that provide naturally calm mooring surrounded by lush greenery. Here we'll be able to snorkel in the crystal clear waters of Atherinos or Paradise Beach. Abelake bay will be our afternoon destination to moor near the coast and go ashore. For those who want to take a walk in the countryside, there is a beautiful path that leads to the village of Vathi. The evening will be a time to enjoy good Greek food in typical taverns in true island style.
Saturday (sixth day - about 20 nautical miles): This day will be dedicated mainly to sailing. We will set off early in the direction of Lefkada. We'll zig-zag between the two islands, enjoying some truly unique scenery. We will be surrounded by the hills of evergreen trees in a channel that narrows between the two islands to just half a mile. We'll find the most beautiful and secluded pools of water between the bays of Mikros Gialos and Syvota to swim and maybe snorkel inside the beautiful sea caves of the coast. In the afternoon we'll head south / west and sail towards Kefalonia where we plan to arrive in the early evening and where we'll spend the night in one of the beautiful bays near Fiskardo. We will sleep in the harbor under a clear sky boasting an array of stars, one of the most beautiful skies in the Mediterranean.
Sunday (seventh day - about 12 nautical miles): After a nice breakfast in the cockpit it will be time to have one last swin among the fish that shimmer as they dart across the white sand seabed. We will head towards Sami where we plan to arrive in the afternoon. We'll be sad to leave with the sun on our faces and salt in our hair, reliving unforgettable sunsets and of the most beautiful bays in the Mediterranean. Time to say goodbye and take home our memories of an unforgettable experience.
